This is a reproduction of an original Factory Air Conditioned 1956 battery box. The original can be seen in the pictures for comparison only. The original is not part of this sale.  
Made in the USA. Due to the process in manufacturing these, there are some slight tooling marks, which once installed would be hard to detect. 
 
This would be the same for the 1955 or 1956 A/C cars. Or if someone wants to move the battery to the front of the car as GM did in 1957 this would be the way that Chevrolet intended it be done. 
 
Keep an eye on us, we are in the process of prototyping some other A/C specific hard  to find parts. Having an original factory A/C car ourselves we know how hard it is to find these.
